Contact and membership

The Dutch Bitcoin Embassy uses the information you provide to handle your question or application. An application does not create a member account and carries no payment obligation. Applications are stored securely with our database provider, Supabase. When an application is submitted, the email service Resend processes the information to notify the Embassy.

Newsletter

If you sign up, we store your email address and your consent to the monthly DBE newsletter. You can unsubscribe by emailing info@dutchbitcoinembassy.com. Sending a contact message or membership application does not automatically subscribe you to the newsletter.

Analytics and cookies

Google Analytics loads only after you give consent. We measure page views and successful form submissions. We do not send form content, names or email addresses to Google Analytics. You can change your choice through Cookie settings at the bottom of the website. Your preference is stored locally in your browser.

Security and your rights

Form submissions are not public. We retain them for as long as needed to handle your question, application or newsletter subscription. You can request access, correction or deletion by emailing info@dutchbitcoinembassy.com. To prevent spam, we use a hash of the IP address that changes daily; the IP address itself is not stored with your submission.
