What is the Dutch Bitcoin Embassy?
A Bitcoin-only community and hub in the Netherlands, based in The Hague. The Embassy connects newcomers, builders and entrepreneurs through events, education and three circles: Open Circle, Builders Circle and Business Club. Its formal launch was on 15 January 2026.
Is the Embassy only for Bitcoin, or for other crypto?
Bitcoin only. No other coins and no hype: sound money, solid principles and what is built upon them.
How do I become a member?
Join the Open Circle for free: public events, the newsletter and basic education. To contribute, apply to the Builders Circle. Entrepreneurs can join the Business Club.
How much does the Business Club cost?
The current website lists €1,497 per year. Membership includes a private Telegram group, priority access to events and small sessions, and benefits developed together with the circle.
Where are the events taking place?
So far, events take place in The Hague: screenings at Flora Filmtheater and Connect at Paviljoen de Witte. Tickets are handled through Luma.
Does the Embassy have a physical place?
The Embassy has a physical home. Together with Young Workspaces, it offers a Bitcoin Workspace at Zeestraat 100 in The Hague, with monthly contracts for Bitcoin businesses and builders.
